MIA helps healthcare providers manage and monitor who is visiting their sites. It ensures that all company representatives — including contractors, engineers, and support staff — have the right credentials to safely access NHS hospitals and other healthcare locations.
If you work in Estates & Facilities, such as building maintenance, engineering, cleaning, catering, or logistics, and you visit NHS sites, you must be MIA compliant. This is a mandatory requirement for all healthcare providers using MIA, including most NHS Trusts.
