MIA is the leading appointment and credentialing service in the UK chosen by over 80 NHS trusts and 42 private hospitals.
With over 10 years’ experience leading the healthcare credentialing sector and being a cost-effective solution for industries training and credentialing needs MIA covers all the bases.
MIA is a free service for healthcare providers, funded entirely by industry. By capturing commercial supplier (sales representatives, service engineers, trainers, etc.) movements and activities on site, the system allows healthcare providers to check the credentials of its commercials suppliers to ensure they are properly qualified to engage with HCPs and enter various areas within a hospital. With various report features and engagement with other providers (like AdviseInc) MIA is able to provide full disclosure to hospitals around industry activities on site.
With a new portal and new upcoming supporting app, MIA is paving the way for the next 10 years of credentialing needs, supporting healthcare providers and industry users up and down the country through new technology to ease the burden of administration whilst maintaining high levels of control and compliance.
By using MIA you can be assured that commercial visitors to your hospital have met the highest standards of training and are part of the LSI National Credentialing Register.
MIA is also the first and only credentialing service in the UK to go green. Having committed to the SME Climate Hub, MIA is the only credentialing service in the UK to be counted by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign. In short, this means that MIA will be operating at Net Zero by 2050.
We have been working with the MIA team since 2015 and they have always presented a very professional approach to our relationship – they understand our organisation and the specific need and demands of the Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and have proved a good fit with our culture and policies. We benefit from their strong market awareness and sharing of best practice for our training needs. We now have improved visibility of the supplier reps visiting our trust and more knowledge of their reasons for visiting. The online functionality can and has been tailored to our specific needs. It is intuitive, easy to navigate has been well received by our staff and suppliers alike.
