This Code of Ethical Business Practice is intended to provide guidance on the interactions of BIVDA members with individuals or entities that purchase, lease, recommend, use, arrange for the purchase or lease of IVD medical devices (“healthcare professionals”) in the UK and, generally, elsewhere.

BIVDA is the national industry association for companies with major involvement and interest in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry. BIVDA also represents the interests of the IVD industry in the UK as a member of the MedTech Europe (MTE), which in turn represents the IVD industry in Europe.
